When you first start PROJECT, there's a small window that drops down, and you have to click on DEFAULT to open up the recording field. Then when you want to hear playback, you have to go back in Device Control and change Lambda to either your audio sound card that has ASIO or the ActiveX ASIO, all in the drop down menu. When you record, you have to go into DEVICE control and select LambdaASIO. I also have Lambda and Cubase4 and Vista and have just been getting back into it. I think under Preferences>device set up.ĭo you have the CubaseE4 icon on your desktop?ĭo you know how to open and name a recording session?Ĭan you create aa track And record anything? one important thing is getting the drivers recognized. It hs been a while since I set up my interface and my computer. I believe the seeming incompatibility can be corrected with the recording devices we use.Ĭubase has a support forum that is pretty good. and it turned out my decision was a good one. I checked out Vista when it was introduced and felt it wasn't for me I don't use my computer that way. Delvin, I do have the Lexicon Lambda and my recording software is Cubase Essential 4. ![]()
